Life, it’s a strange old thing. One minute you think you have everything sussed and the next, you have had your whole world turned upside down. This past year really has been one of those things for me and the last few months of 2016 were taken up with DIY on my home, something that has taken a little back seat these past months due to not being well. I’m not going to say that I haven’t cooked the past 16 months because I have, it’s just it’s been a case of quickly eating and not messing around with styling food to within an inch of it’s life and photographing it.
I have included a few recipes on my lifestyle blog and some afternoon tea and restaurant reviews but I have plenty of plans for the upcoming year and I am determined to get this blog up and running again. I am not going to convince myself that I can do it all as I can’t but I am intending on blogging once a week on a Tuesday on this blog.
I’m really looking forward to getting back in the kitchen and developing some new recipes but also sharing some favourites of ours with you. Some of recent favourites have been some festive food like this prawn cocktail starter, mincemeat and marzipan slice and this yummy no cook chocolate and raspberry trifle.
