As Mothers Day fast approaches, my children have asked me what I would like them to buy me. To be honest I’ve asked for cuddles and mugs of tea on tap. Being a single parent means what ever the get me I’ll be paying for myself. As we’ve just moved house, we’ve had so many expenses and still more to come that there isn’t much cash for treats. It doesn’t bother me and I don’t take offence over not getting gifts. However, I have mentally made a noticing a few things that might be nice to have.
I love Cath Kidston. I’d buy every bit of crockery they make if I could. I’ve got my eye on these plates.
I love tea and there is no better way than brewing a cup than with a tea pot. Loving this little cute cup and tea pot set.
I’m a big fan of tea and would love to receive a tea package from We Are Tea who sell some refreshing Darjeeling and herbal teas.
Is there anything more perfect that treating you Mum to a personalised cake on Mothers Day. Love these cakes from Baker Days and are ideal to post to your loved one if you are unable to be together on the day.
I must say I adore kitchen gadgets. I love anything that helps me save time or improves the food I cook. One kitchen gadget I’d love to own is an ice cream maker. I’d love to be able to make different flavoured ice creams, gelato, frozen yogurts and sorbets. On my wish list is this little beauty from Sage Appliances.
Do you have a foodie loving Mother or if you are a mother yourself, what foodie gift would you like this Mothers Day?
*Baker Days and We Are Tea have very kindly gifted me a cake and a selection of teas respectively. All views of their products are my own.
