Meal Planning (22 February 2016)

I find meal planning to be a great benefit to us. It not only saves money as I find I waste less food but it also makes preparing meals so much easier. We don’t stick to the plan rigidly as sometimes with Internet shopping I find dates on food as sometimes not what I expect but we eat the weeks planned meals.

This week we are having:

Monday – Sunday’s left over roast chicken

Tuesday – Pizza

Wednesday – Spaghetti Bolognese

Thursday – Brinner

Friday – Pork Chops

Saturday – Chicken Curry

Sunday – Roast

Do you meal plan?  Do you find it helps with food waste and organisation?

I am not organised enough to meal plan. It’s a great idea though and I really should try it out. It wouldbe nice to know what I’m making each day.

I love to meal plan but yet I never seem to do it properly and am always rushing out to the shops to pick up something for dinner!

It’s lovely you are organized, it should make buying groceries easier. I think it will save time too.

We started meal planning (we haven’t for almost two weeks now and can see a massive difference) I think it really does help save time and money

I am slowly getting better at sticking to my meal plans. I do love curry and pizza! I think they need to be on my list for next week!

I should plan more, being a working mum makes it so hard to be enthusiastic about cooking lol
