Maltesers Cakes

These maltesers cakes are quick and easy to make but taste divine.  Children will not only enjoy eating them but can also help to make and decorate them.  They make a lovely addition to any children’s party.

Maltesers cakes

As well as making individual maltesers cakes you can also make one large cake.  To make a show stopper cake for a children’s party split the batter between 2 8″ tins and bake until firm.  Then use a round pastry cutter to cut a circle out of one of the cakes.  Place this cake on the bottom and fill with maltesers before sandwiching the other cake on top.  Decorate with icing and maltesers.  When cut, the maltesers cake will surprise your little guests.

  • 175g plain flour
  • 150g soft brown sugar
